Dear Feyree Support Team, i bought in Sept. 2023 the feyree 11kW Type2 16A
to charge my BMW i3. I am very satisfied with the device so far, but I have a specific technical question regarding the remote control via the Smart Life App.
When I press the “Stop/Pause” button in the Smart Life App while the car is actively charging, how exactly does the charger terminate the session?
Does the charger perform a “soft stop” by first dropping the PWM signal on the Control Pilot (CP) line to 0, waiting for the car’s onboard charger to ramp down the current, and then opening the internal relays (contactors)?
Or does it perform a “hard stop” by immediately opening the relays under full load?
I want to ensure that stopping the charge remotely via the app is completely safe for the relays and my car’s onboard charger, without causing any electrical arcing.
Thank you very much for your technical clarification!
Best regards,
Simon
